Capturing Life’s Exciting Moments — Since 2016
Hey, I’m Brandon Hernandez. My passion for photography started back in 2016, when I bought my first camera while serving in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper. Amid all the training and intensity, I found myself drawn to the small, powerful moments—a quiet sunrise before a jump, candid smiles between teammates, and I started capturing those slices of life through my lens.
In 2021, I switched to Public Affairs, combining my love for storytelling with my military experience. That shift opened up a whole new world for me, where I could document real stories and human emotion in a way that connects people. By 2024, I was deployed, serving as a photographer and videographer, capturing high-stakes operations and humanitarian missions across the Middle East. That experience not only sharpened my skills, but it also deepened my purpose.
Outside of the uniform, I’ve been chasing this creative path in the civilian world too. I studied film at Orange Coast College, one of the top-rated programs for aspiring filmmakers, and continued my education at California State University, Los Angeles, majoring in Film & Television with a minor in Photography.
I specialize in documenting sports, events, and brand stories — always with heart, energy, and a cinematic touch. Whether it's a buzzer-beater on the court, a product launch, or a moment worth framing forever, I’m here to help you relive it in full color and feeling.
I’m grateful for every opportunity to tell someone’s story. If you’ve got a moment worth capturing, I’d be honored to be behind the camera.
